High Performance Carbide Drill Bits

These drill bits were designed from the ground up specifically for farriers. In testing these bits lasted 4 times as long as high performance TiN coated cobalt drill bits and 9 times as long as regular oxide coated drill bits.

They are solid carbide with an advanced proprietary coated and can be run with no cutting oil. They are O diameter bits for easy tapping with a built in countersink and a 7/16" shank.   This integrated design allows for smooth operation and full chip evacuation unlike slip on countersink collars that chatter and trap chips in their enclosed design. The short design and thick shank makes these bits significantly stronger and more rigid, virtually eliminating flex and the resulting walk. 

In addition to helping you do do your job more efficiently due to the faster feed rate, these bits are a much better value than other drill bit/countersink combinations on the market due to their significantly longer life. They also save the cost and mess of cutting oil and their optimized diameter extends the life of your tapping equipment and speeds the tapping process. 

Not suitable for use in hand drills. Should only be used with our drill jig or another solid, squared workholding setup. See our blog posts for more information on proper use.
